The Free Memorial Portrait Project
This page is dedicated to the Free Memorial Portrait Project I started. This project was started because I was given a donation toward my business by a good friend and college roommate of mine, DaWanna McCray. It took me a while to figure out how to turn this gift she gave me into into something that I would be proud of and something I could do to further cause of providing art to Black households because art is wealth and Black art is important. One day the seed was planted when gave one portrait then another and before I knew it, a project had grown. I appreciate each and every person that allowed me to give them something to remember their loved ones and provide them with Black art by a Black artist.
My dear cousin lost his mother (my older cousin) to cancer.
This portrait was for a woman who lost her best friend to gun violence
